DANA MARIE PALUMBO

The Dana Palumbo Impact Fund was created in honor of Dana Marie Palumbo, who lost her life in an automobile accident in August of 2001 at the age of 17. Dana was a caring, intelligent, beautiful young woman with an independent spirit and big goals for her life. With a strong passion for journalism, Dana was intent on going to college in Boston with a dream (more like a plan!) of becoming the next Today Show anchor.

Dana was a force to be reckoned with and the Impact Fund's goal is to ensure her impact on the world lives on through multiple initiatives. Whether through supporting driven students pursuing careers in journalism or creating positive experiences for children who have recently lost a sibling or parent, Dana’s impact will continue to touch the lives of many, just as it always has.
